Keilir Aviation Academy has purchased a brand new Diamond DA40 aircraft bringing the total number of training aircraft at the flight school to a total of ten.

The school currently operates one of the most sophisticated fleet of Diamond training aircraft in Europe including five DA20, four DA40 and one twin-engine DA42, as well as a full motion Redbird MCX flight simulator for pilot training.

The fleet of Diamond training aircraft, along with a recently signed agreement with TRU Flight Training Iceland securing access to the most advanced flight simulator in Iceland for Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) training, will further expand the opportunities and training possibilities at the school. Currently close to one hundred pilot students are enrolled in private and professional pilot programs at Keilir Aviation Academy, a number that has grown exponentially over the past few years.
